Re: Glucosamine and Lymes Dise
Raymond,
What kind of symptoms did you experience? I wonder if I ever had it during all these years Ive been running and Ive mistaken it for something else. Is one able to recover from this condition without medication?

So if you've been running where deer are, and you subsequently have any of the symptoms of Lymes, then go to the doc post haste.

p.s. I also take glucosamine, since it does seem to have some scientific credibility.
Ticks - Lyme disease (LAMM)
Howdy,
On the LAMM both my and my partner (wife) suffered numerous tick bites. We are now both feeling pretty run down with flu symptoms and tiredness so much so we pulled out of the SLMM on the first day.
Do you know if the is a history of Lyme disease in Northern Scotland? Is it worth getting it checked - neither of us have the bullseye rashes?
Opinions, debate and wild speculation please.
Cheers,
Matt

IMO, always worth getting checked. What do we have an NHS for?

I agree with Alexandra - see your GP. Do not take risks with Lyme disease, it is rare but can become chronic if not treated properly/early.
