Another pony (no Not Mare!!!) reporting in!! cheques int' post - those pink ladies vests yurned up yet??;)
got my vest, will be wearing with pride at sheperds skyline a week on saturday, cheers george, the cheque should be with you in the next day or two :p
MasterPony is the man to ask about numbers......im more of an old fashioned quarter horse / work donkey than a sophisticated fell pony (like Masterpony) to be honest.
I see we've had requests for pink vests!!!! Stranger things have happened. We most likely will have a summer get-up .
I should imagine that I'll def have vests before pendle.
Master
As there are no rules in the club may i have a PINK vest and you know me i will wear it!
I quite like the dark "racing" green colour of the website home-page.
I'd've already ordered a vest, if you offered one in that colour... <pathetic_whiny_voice>
Having a variety of colours would emphasise the individuality within the club, and further set it apart from the uniformed masses ;)
It's an interesting concept.....
It'd all depend on whether printers would charge the £35 extra to set up a new screen for printing or not...........
if that was the case then obviously the vest price would be getting silly.......
but hey, i can enquire, and if there's demand............
at the end of the day the vests are sold at cost price anyway......
I just do the ordering and initial financing
EDIT: check the website......don't Mick and Karl look smart in their pony vests (Saltergate Gallows race)......oh, and The Master, Amex and I
Master i want PINK XXL if i have to buy 5 so be it i am rich !!
Steady.....:D
There seems to be a slightly worrying trend for some ponies to get in touch with their feminine side (whatever floats your boat), but this could pose a problem. At the after Pendle gathering will it be "come as you are" or will we be expected to turn up in "drag"??:o :D
Just a thought, are we still having cake after Pendle?? only I,ve had a word with Mrs C and she,s up for making a nosebag. We could have a cakefest I know the Master at least would be up for that, then again would it go down well with a jar of Pendle Witches.??
Just got my result from the Windgather @ www.fellraces.co.uk
As expected a long way down the order, at 2.50, but it'll do nicely... there were even 5, yes, five, behind me!!!
Might have to treat myself to a new numnah.
Now I may be on the margins here, but I don't see how a flighty little pony like the Master (with all due respect of course) can be given the title "chief cake trougher". I mean, where would he put it all?
You can't have it both ways, 2nd at Beefy's and then honorary club cake ubermeister. The dray (remember that Mr.C.?) at the back knows his carrot from his simnel and the Master can fuel his whippetiness with a light Victoria sponge. Likes of that'd be no use to us robust fellas at the back.. we're gonna be out for twice as long.
Anyhow good luck for Pendle (whenever that is). See you all at The Roaches
Ha Ha! Lantern you have no idea......my capacity for cake is well documented, you are more likely to beat me in a race than in a cake eating competition....I have natural talent and no shame or manners either:D
Im also very capable with pork pies
As for where it all goes, i must confess to being caught out at 8am this morning in the Shelf Moor vicinity and needing the "proper" toilet. This had to be carried out in driving wind and rain.....the sheep were perturbed;)
