I enjoyed the slate mine too (love the tinkle of the slates, like music) and to be honest, I thought Dalehead wasn't as bad as some people make out (although it is interminably long) but that's probably because I took it quite easy earlier on due to being worried about getting round. Will someone be good enough to post split times for the various checkpoints based on a 15:25 (ie 5 mins to spare) arrival at Honister. I need to know what times I should be aiming for as this will be my 4th start and I would like to complete the goddam race - I want to wear the 40th anniversary t shirt with a studied nonchalance when I'm shopping in Sainsbury's :wink:
