On the Occasion of My Lover's Celibacy
by: Chocolate Waters (1949- ) (do you think that is their real name?)
The moon is a hard white rock
disenchanting
These many months my
lover has withdrawn her
fingers rippling through my skin
like dreams her tongue like velvet
walking I am
not to take this personally I
lay next to her and
swallow the moon analytically as
she sleeps I
move next to her and am
reasonable as the stars in the sky as
she sleeps I
sink like a sunset into the horizon I
am without her loving groundless
hollow as the clouds I
fold myself into an Origami swan
floating on some other lake entirely I
will be as graceful
about this as I
can be
Cat's rule,
Dog's drule.
Obviously written by a cat:rolleyes:
Dog is God backwards, not religous, but i'm a Mutt Man:D
A little something to cheer you Hes.
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Your artwork is great,
And so are you.
Matt.
This is a nice little poem and it could be written about her dog (mine was a heavy breather) ;).
You Breathe
by: Anna Vera Williams (1975- )
You breathe at night.
It makes me smile.
You sing to me,
And for a while,
My heart feels calm,
My feelings clear;
The world seems simple,
When you're near.
I just noticed you will become a master soon.Only 69 posts to go.
