Re: Overweight to Raceweight g
Anybody checked out their position on the "Global Fat Scale". Go on you know you want to :D

The Old Alfer has a BMI of 23 and apparently this is better than 91% of my age group in the UK. Now I can eat that Steak and Kidney pudding and drink a four pack of original Guinness tonight completely guilt free

Aha, I swapped nationality when I went imperial. Instead of Indian, I'm now Japanese. :D
22bmi and lower than 85% of females. Can't really believe that but anyway, that's what it says.

I measured 24 on that scale and my own electronic scales say I'm slighty over 25 so not too much difference.
77Kg at the moment so static give or take 0.5kg for a few weeks now.. I'm off to Scotland tomorrow to walk from Glasglow to Inverness via Fort William. Hopefully my lower weight will help greatly on the hike..

Re: Overweight to Raceweight g
That was fun - thanks Alf. After weeks of fruitlessly trying to lose the odd few pounds (yes, POUNDS) I went off to the French mountains for 3 weeks and that did it. Current BMI 18 = lower than 98% of 70-79 year old UK women. Most similar to a Bangladeshi old woman - but, sadly, I expect she got like that from not getting enough food rather than through expensive holidays and a super-healthy diet.
Re: Overweight to Raceweight g
I've kind of given up on this threads goals. I've almost come to the conclusion 12st 7-4lb is my 'natural' basic running weight! Then I weighed myself (after my long run...) and I was 11st 13.5lb!!!. First time sub 12st for years!!
