10 miles around chew valley, quite quick, some nice cuts to show aswell :p
2 hours 15 today.
On low moors, tracks, canals and roads.
What was happening in and around Dovestones/Saddleworth area? Kept seeing signs directing people on the three peaks route!
Ran around the Fiendsdale race route in 2½ hours. Was a good opportunity to get to know the area for the Fell Relays a bit better. Met Ali who was showing Aly Raw and Sharon Taylor around (put your money on Bingley Ladies!) and after I'd finished, Dew Claw Lassalle came down Parlick, also having run round Fiendsdale. Visibility was good and the ground was mostly dry. In the few places where it was wet it was just that - wet but not muddy. Hope it stays the same for the relays! I enjoyed it but found it quite tough - a lot of tussocks - and my ankles were aching a bit. Feel much better now after a nice soak in the hydrotherapy pool at Total Fitness, Bolton.:)
Only a short 4.5mile run for me today in preparation for some 10k road races in the coming weeks. Been working on upping my speed over the last week or two on the shorter distances.
After the Three Shires yesterday I'm a wee bit battered and bruised and achey all over:o
Showed semi willing at circuit tonight!
A 12.5 hour day at work followed by a 6 mile/1400' hilly run. Hardest bit is getting your gear on and setting off.
