few pints of Trophy round the local rugby club, mighty fine :)
Got a carry out of, I cant beleive its North Yorkshire, a stonking 7%er, going down rather well...
Being Burns Night last night, I had a rather tremendous Black Cuillin from The Isle of Skye Brewing Company. I'll be getting some more.
A bottle of superb Shepherd Neame Double Stout.
A single pint of Gold Digger was consumed one night last week in a public house, in a town and civil parish in the Metropolitan Borough of Bolton, in Greater Manchester. It was a lovely pint. I was most disappointed when my pint glass was empty and the enjoyment was no more. I had to drive my automobile home and did not wish to exceed the legal limit of alcohol within my body and possibly risk my licence, job, life and independence.
Yes.
Shlong.
After 5 weeks on the wagon,
I have just opened a bottle of Tods Blonde.
Old speckled hen now.
Hobgoblin now and feeling good.
Owd Rodger to finish

Perhaps the best beer I've had from a bottle - great stuff :)
A cracking bottle of Weird Beard Brew Co Decadence Stout followed by the award winning Robinsons Old Tom at 8.5%. Feeling a bit fresh now. Need to recover for tomorrow's Ilkley Beer Festival !
Newcastle Brown...the dog...in bottles...
Bottled Belgian gear for me last night, mighty fine it was too, funnily enough ( to me anyway ) its called De Ranke...
At the Ilkley Beer Festival tonight I had:
2 halves of Buxton Rednik Stout, half a Hawkshead Dry Stone Stout, half a Moorhouse's Black Cat, half a Purple Moose Snowdonia Ale & half a Wharfedale Black. All excellent. A great evening. Spent most of it discussing races/challenges with my mate.
Due to the weather warnings we decided that it was too dangerous to go as far the the shops, and as the closest place to buy food happened to be the Victoria Hotel....
....Although I can't actually remember what the first beer was! It was an IPA of some description. A bit so-so if I'm honest. The second was "Into the Dragon", very bitter, but excellent as always!
Leatherbritches The Bounder. Pale & hoppy, just how I like it.
A Weird Brew Co Decadence Stout followed by an, ever reliable, Marstons Oyster Stout.
Couple of Farmers Blondes tonight at the Ladybower Inn, haven't had it from the pump for a while. It is still my fave:)
My first trip to the excellent Curious Hop in Otley yielded
Furious - Firestorm IPA. pretty decent if standard IPA
Westbrook - White Thai. very interesting wheat, flavoured with lemongrass, ginger & Sorachi Ace hops
Axholme - Clearwater Pale. Awful. Smelly socks, cheese and cat piss. Probably a bad bottle
Picked up a couple of Sadlers Mud City Stout from Home Bragains today. £1.49 a bottle so worth a punt. Anybody tried it ?
can't help with the Mud Stout, yet....
*nips off to Home Bargains!*
I see they have those Thornbridge Peakland ales in Booths now. Jaipur etc ;)

2 halves of the incredible Kernel Stout from London Brewery at 7% in The Brewery Tap, Leeds. Closely followed by an excellent Saltaire Brewery Bock dark ale. All rounded off with a Punk IPA in The Cockpit watching the superlative Toy in concert.
Acorn 'Barnsley Gold' in Otley Waitrose. By 'eck old lad.
Hoparama!
Magic Rock - High Wire NZ : zingy, fruity, sharp bitterness. extremely drinkable @5.5.%
Anarchy - Citra St*r : unctuous! which for a beer at 4.1% is pretty impressive. even cloudy because it's so full of hops!
Cromarty - Atlantic Drift : crisp, dry and again chock full of those yummy tropical hop flavours
all at the Harrogate Tap
1/2 a Milton Minotaur followed by half a Saltaire Cascadian Black.
Then on to Saltaire Brewery beer club for 2 halves of Saltaire Bock & the same of the tremendous Dockfield Porter, again from Saltaire.
A brilliant Two Hoots golden ale from Joseph Holt last night. Followed by an average Farmers Stout from Bradfield Brewery.
A few old favourites last night.
Newcastle Brown
A 'Black Sheep' Capital Cup Final :D
two very tasty and excellently kept pints of Abbeydale's Moonshine in the Snake Pass in after a few hours trotting around Bleaklow.
