Same again for me tonight, turbo 2X20 mins @350W... hopefully get out on "real" bike at weekend..that said Graeme Obree said his turbo would be the first thing he'd save in a fire..unfortunately true, there's no hiding on it.

Just back from a week cycling in the South of Spain... was the coldest spell they'd had in 50 years, apparently, but it slowly warmed up in the course of the week and it was sunny :)
LOTS of climbing... as it either went up or down... lovely roads though but I really need to do something about my fitness, I was abysmal!
Very easy Zone 1-2 two hour spin after tough run yesterday 52.55km/749m
So took out my brand new shiny and not inexpensive BMC for first ride Saturday ... and crashed!
Attachment 5744
105km at 28kph
That must smart :w00t:
But to be fair, my first thought was: Oh, I DO hope his lovely new bike is ok!!!
How is the new velodrome? Would love to try it out, but doubt I will have a chance before the olympics...
Went for a little ride over the Gospell Pass yesterday, by means of recovery from Spain... well, actually, it was more to try out my legs and bike were up to it for later this week... Was hard work and so very cold, even though it was sunny (but windy). I find riding in these cold tempreatures really takes it out of me. Legs hurt, I am sluggish... I just hope it is the cold and not me being totally useless :(
Two rest days now, unless I decide on some powerwork on the turbo. But I don't think that is the right thing to do at this time of the year...
You hoping to edge Ms Pendleton out of the team then Han!?
Well it's the only track cycling event I've been to, so nothing to compare it with, but it was fantastic: we had great seats right down at the rail and near to the finish line; atmosphere was really crackling; and the place looks pretty good.
They absolutley fleece you for drinks and food but that's no surprise is it?
Looks like they might charge people to watch the road cycling at Box Hill now too.
PS Nikalas - I didn't say thanks for the FTP test details. I'll print that off and give it a whirl.
One of the spin instructors reckons the WattBike is difficult to get set up right - positionwise.
