What exactly do you mean by checkpoint times? The finish times for most of the 50 years of previous events are on the Fellsman website. The exact individual times for each entrant at each checkpoint has only ever been recorded on paper so is not generally available. The times recorded electronically for each entrant are an approximation (always later) because of the way they have traditionally been batched up for transmission, and sorry no, these are no longer publicly available for last year either.
Changes are afoot for this year...
If you have a specific query about your own times in recent years, I may be able to help. Let me know in a message.
I'll be getting an "I'm the biggest" then (or putting a small something else in to go with the underweight malt loaf I already have.) :D
dmd -you seem to be a man/woman in the know, am I right in thinking that the grouping times published for this year are 30 minutes later than last year?
Cheers
I'm a first timer too and feeling very excited - and apprehensive every time I hear the forecast for the weekend! I'm taking 4 x 75g galaxy chocolate bars for my emergency food (which will not last long after the event). Will be laying out all my kit this evening and making sure I've got everything on the list. This bit of preparation is a sort of ritual for me, I think it helps convince me I'm actually doing this!!
I'd echo that about the team Nick - very very helpful.
The combination of this forum, Facebook, Fellsman website and the booklet makes a very very comprehensive package which they deserve a lot of credit for. Yes, some people will plead lack of clarity on gear changes etc, but look how quickly things seem to be getting concluded. Well done Fellsman team !
Well that's a first - I'm all organised a day early :)
Unpacked......
