Re: Overweight to Raceweight g
Back after some time now.
Weight at 80kg, down from 95.8 last year, so steady maintained loss. Revised my target from 78 to 76kg as race weight, though may revise it lower when I get to my target, as I seem to be getting faster the skinnier I get. Hey ho!
Re: Overweight to Raceweight g
Great effort silentrunner.
You deserve a BIG pat on the back.
Re: Overweight to Raceweight g
Well I've been following the 2:5 fasting diet for 8 weeks.
Lost 14lb but even better is my body fat has dropped from 19.9 to 16.5.
This is amazing considering you eat and drink as normal for 5 days per week and just have 2 day when I consume 600cal's. (big soup for dinner and tuna sandwich in 2 slices of wholemeal bread for tea and just water to drink)
My days have either been Mon and Wed or Tu and Thur depending on training and cycling to work.
Just google the diet on the internet for more info, because the computer at work won't let me put a link to it.
182lb down to 168lb and I'm over the moon.
Re: Overweight to Raceweight g
Having recovered from 3 weeks of holiday and all that entails I seem to have lost a full stone now, once the outlaws leave from visiting (which seems to be for an eternity) there should be a damn sight less unhealthy food kicking about which can only help.
Re: Overweight to Raceweight g
I've settled at 12st 2lb - 11st 12lb, depending on when I weigh myself. Pretty pleased with that!!! Now its just a matter of maintain that through winter and see if I can lose a little more come Jan, Feb, March next year!!

Ha, SNAP on all counts.
I was planning on holding on to some 'insulation' until spring. That's my excuse anyway.
Re: Overweight to Raceweight g
67.4 kg today
Aim to be under 65 for Christmas. Would like o be 62.5 next spring but that may be a bit ambitious as I am not making a conscious effort to lose weight but relying on an increase in training for the changes.
Re: Overweight to Raceweight g
Well the racing ability has improved as the weight decreased.
Gt Whernside was my best and I scored my highest scores on the forum champs table in the last 2 months.
11st 11lb and still droping.
Not bad for a 13stone plus chap.

You're doing brilliantly Trev and looking all the better for it. Very well done, and yes well done at Whernside - great run from you.
