Sounds brilliant Han, nothing like an epic race to make you smile (and hobble) all week!
24hour solo? looks like your next step up is a good one, loved all 3 I've done

I have a 12 hr mixed pairs before the 24 hr Paul, to ease me in gently ;)
Very well done Han.
Sounds like a fun day out, now just rest, recovery and good food before next weekends potter round a couple of lakeland passes.
Get plenty of sleep, that the key.
Thanks Stagger :) I tried having a lie in, but failed, as awake at 7 am... But a pottering day is had today. Kit is being washed, I have washed my (muddy) hair, have had 2 breakfasts and about to make lunch... Lost 4 kilo's racing yesterday, it needs re-plenishing before the Fred :)
After lunch I will take the MTB to work for a hose down and good clean, then a little spin on one of the other bikes is in order, to ease out the legs. Feeling remarkably good, considering! Bruised leg is hurting though :(
Hey, good luck for the 'Fred' Han:thumbup:
Moley, I have had 4 meals today, as well as a whole pack of fig rolls, a whole pack of toffee waffles and a banana :)
Thanks Steve, I hope I will recover enough for that :w00t:
Not feeling too bad today actually, but now getting rather tired... Only riding I have done is the 2 miles up to work, to hose the bike down and 2 miles back. Lots of fettling and bike cleaning been done though!
And early night for me tonight and a recovery ride tomorrow. In fact, all my rides will be easy this week, to get myself recovered for the Fred. I wonder if any other forumites are doing it?
Just a 30min effort on the rollers.
2 mins hard in big gear & 1 min easy in middle gear.
Tough going, got a right sweat on.

Good girl, keep eating and you'll be fine . I remember being fed those toffee waffles at a checkpoint during a 25 miler, how on earth can anyone swallow those things during a race :w00t:. But great with a coffee afterwards.
The fig rolls and toffee waffles were supposed to be eaten during the race... in small pieces, I was testing food stuffs I can take during Mountain Mayhem. Although both of them work really well when out on a road bike for long periods of time, they don't work on a mountain bike! So I ate them yesterday in stead :)
