Haha its a tshirt for running only!!! ONLY!!!
But it sure does get me some dirty looks from girls in the gym LOL!
I like that attitude Daz :)
My mate was running for Breast Cancer Care - his wife was diagnosed with it just before last year's London Marathon. He wore a charity vest (in fetching Fell Pony pink!) and the UKA champs scrutineers weren't happy due to the logos and sponsorship issues - as if a charity would have paid him to advertise for them! You'd think they'd have come across people running in charity vests before, it's hardly unheard of.
He ran in the vest anyway, didn't care if he got disqualified later. I was too chicken (wanted a time to qualify for other races) :( Quite why it matters when you're going to be finishing at best 200th or so and play no part in deciding the upper placings in the championship race is beyond me, when you can wear what the hell you like on the mass start and still win prizes if you're good enough in your age group.
The race instructions were very clear about not folding numbers ;)
Back to sensible races with no quibbles about what vest you wear for me.
I am not sure it will get seen cos i was planning on wearing the fellponies pink vest over it, and even if i wore the tshirt the numbers would cover the slogan...
Steve i am doing the 5k for Breast Cancer for the Race for life and i am going to wear the FP vest, are they going to say i can't LOL, then i be wearing the slogan tee instead...
