Managed to do 60-65 minutes steady in 58-48, is that good or bad ? ;)
35 mins from home - more towpath than usual as fancied a 'flatter one':(:eek:
5.5 miles steady on road
oh my god...did i feel the excesses of christmas/new year on the up hill bits :eek:
cut gate tomorrow :D (sustained uphill, and then back again)

87 mins (c9.25 miles) around Danefield & Chevin including doing the steps for first time in about half a dozen visits there.
Only 3 weeks after the wettest I'd known it up there today was almost all bone-dry thanks to all the frost.
45:42mins Plantation area lower Chew...Nice out, very icy underfoot...
Hadfield, Longdendale Trail, round all four resers and back through Padfield. warm up, 5 x 5mins hard off 2 mins jog recovery, 8 x 15 sec hill sprints (Man walking dog thinks I am mad with the look of him. Either that or he fancied me!) Warm down.
Leg 2 of Pennine Bridleway with club gang...still full of a cold though.
7 mile today. hard work after all the food and beer over the festive time.
