Well thanks to you, cos I did not have enough pins the resulting drag form the number flapping must have lost me at least 20 places.

Amazing value brunch back at start: Hot Hollands pies 50p, Muffins 50p and all the tea you can drink for free. Brilliant!
Big thanks to organisers.
I saw you finishing your leg, sorry I didn't get chance to speak, we were just waiting to set off on leg 2. We were very very cold.
Excellent food, I suppose that's the advantage of getting up early and being on leg 1!

Re: Pennine Bridleway Relay
Bad news for the guy from Darwen who slipt on the ice on leg 5 and broke his leg!
Re: Pennine Bridleway Relay
Aye, Big Kev broke his ankle not long after setting off on Leg 5. I've not heard how he is but it sounded a bad 'un.
Congrats to Lefty and his team for organising such a fantastic event from all at Darwen Dashers.

[QUOTE=Al Fowler;301911]Quality day that.
The ice certainly made things interesting....
It certainly did and it gave me an idea for a new television series: pair up celebrities with fell runners for...
"Celebrity strictly come fell running on ice". I'm off to contact Connie Huq's agent.:)
