Yup, crap run this year - hopefully slightly better next!!
Can a muppet like me enter or is it just professional international runners, the kind you see on the telly?
I'll be running again next year just have to try not to die on inglebugger like I did this time. Had it not taken me nearly 50 mins to do that climb I would have ran 3:35ish
I thought it could be different this year, with the international event

Qualification
Entries will be accepted from:-
It is emphasized that the cut off times of 2hrs 10min Ribblehead and 3hrs 30min Hill Inn will be strictly enforced.
- Runners who have completed the Three Peaks Race in 2005, 2006 or 2007.
- Runners who have completed 2 FRA category AM, AL, BL races since Jan 1st 2006.
- Runners who do not fulfil either of these requirements but who have endurance running experience should submit their entry listing endurance races completed during 2006 and 2007. The committee have discretion to accept entries from runners who have completed races of over two hours duration in a competitive time. eg road marathon within 3hrs 20 min. O.M.M. Elite, A, B Class or equivalent.
Grisedale, may count as another.
Certainly Full tour of Pendle in Nov and The Wadsworth Trog in Feb.
Ah yes I also did it in 2005 and 2006
I missed the peaks this year. I want to have another go at it. It was my first long race when I did it 3 years ago.
