Oh yes! It is good because we get the blue skies of summer but the snow of winter which makes it rather pleasant.

I'm definitely doing this, i might even go fishing at Stenkrith Park after, has anyone got a route description please?
I'll Be there, its worth it for a chance at the spot prize! I can vouch for the fantastic place you've got in the Pyrenees, we had a great time with you guys this February and can't wait to come back!
From Street there is a bridleway that takes you almost to the summit plateau, when you reach the top gate go through it and follow the shoulder on to the plateau. Keeping the drop on your left run to the far corner collection of cairns (do not cross any fences). Almost turn back on yourself but follow the trod to the summit cairn. When you reach the cairn just throw yourself off the edge and head down to a river crossing you went over on your way up the bridleway. Then head back down the track the way you came up. It is essential that you return to the river crossing as this is your final checkpoint and everyone is counted off the fell.
Hope this makes sense any questions just get in touch.

P.S It is a must to attend the prizegiving at the Fat Lamb pub as there are numerous spot prizes some of which are better than the winners prize!
Anyone going there?
And more to the point, how steep is the race? ;)
