I know this might seem like a daft question, but does any one know what to look out for at 'Greenside' the OS map doesn't indicate anything that stick out as anything meaning Greenside. I can find Greenside road but that covers a large area.
I'm also a little worried about find footbridges

Gellmeister, The Greenside Road takes you west to Helvellyn Youth Hostel and then a bunkhouse, above which is the disused Greenside Mine. The grid ref indicates the checkpoint is close to the hostel.Quote:

yes- great race. I turned round at greenside as i was all over the place on the descents. bit disappointing, but still a grand day out. Thanks to joe and the team for putting the event on. Be nice to see more races/runs like this through winter!
