I can't see Cavendish getting green. No doubt he'd like it but is The Tour not a secondary target this year?
Something about Box Hill iirc!?

Cav will be fine in the Mountains - he has slimmed down specifically to help his climbing (with a slight lack of speed though.)
He was even joking the other day about pacing Bernie Eisel up the hills.
The only thing that will prevent him getting to Paris is London. There is only a week or so between the end of the tour and the Olympic road race. If he feels tired in the Pyranees, he may well drop out. That said, the lure of a stage win on the champs elysee is mighhty strong to a sprinter, so who knows.
Anyone putting any bets on at all?
I'm tempted to put a pound or two on Pierre Rolland for King of the Mountains, pretty much based solely on his display on Alp d'huez (sp.?) last year.
Im not putting any money on anything, the fact that there's a chance of a UK rider getting onto the podium in Paris assures me the world has gone mad and is not to be trusted!!
The fact it's a possibility is further proof of the madness
I'm not putting any money on anybody. Thomas Voerkler has done nothing all season and came into this race nursing a knee injury. Then yesterday, he only goes and wins the stage and gets the polka dot jersey to boot. If he's coming into form approaching anything like he had last year, then I doubt anyone will take it off him. Also, as a Frenchman I guess they will do anything to hang on to it until the 14th at least.
Lots of 'mini-attacks' on Sky & Wiggins - expect more today.
Some of the worst commentary of all time from Liggett and Sherman. Imbecilic.
