Cheers Paul! Must admit was a bit suprised at how quickly you seemed to be coming back to me on the hill bits
Mind, this stick feels like he's been chewed about a bit by some big dog...well tired now...even "dog-tired"!
And remember, loads of wine again for you next Friday night ahead of PyG eh...;)

Your nemisis was there from Trawden, think I had her for a minute or so but she's getting the training in to make sure she remains at the head of the GP leader board!!

Just scrapped a top 20 with a 58:40 somthing I think, was made to sprint from the bottom of Townhead lane to the line with a Clayton runner in hot pursuit so was very pleased to see the finish funnel. Grand day out with an inspired start/finish line right outside the pub which was chocka after the race unfortunately.
That was dicks 3rd race in a row including a triathlon on sunday

Enjoyed the atmosphere in the village pre/post race. A good run by my own standards eh.
Good to see Anti-social too.
Re: Austwick Race Monday 31st?
I enjoyed it, really enjoyed it truth be told - I'll be back for more. I did a road 10K on the Sunday so my legs weren't as fresh as they might have been, but I think this was a good first fell run. The only bit I struggled on was the grassy bit/tussocks before the turnaround, that was hard on my ankles .... ran it in my trail shoes, think I might have to invest in some proper fell shoes if this is going to be a regular occurrence. Any recommendations for my next effort?
Cheers :-)
