Lots of young rabbits whilst out this afternoon, no sign of the parents (perhaps they're watching TV?). Also my 2nd sighting of the year of a green woodpecker, makes it all worthwhile. :o

The word 'curl' means something that 'curls' - like a snake.
And a 'Ewe' is a sheep.
So a 'CURLEW' is a Welsh term for a curly fleeced sheep :) .

Nearly stood on an adder on Jura yesterday and had a close encounter with a hen harrier:eek: !

This is interesting, seen lots of young rabbits recently, no older ones, workmate has been down Skegness and witnessed the same thing, have the senior rabbits gone digital:confused:
