Cannot believe that I have developed problems with my right thigh 2 weeks before my first race of the year!
I am sooooooooooo desperate to do this and a total misery at the prospect of missing out!
What do I do?
Rest and sulk is the current strategy..........any other suggestions???
Haven't run a step for four whole weeks because of a foot injury.
I've forgotten what fresh air smells like because I seem to spend half my life going to/being at/leaving the gym
Still not running dam ankle still very sore....
A couple of days late for todays injury, just found this on the Darkpeak site

I hope he's ok for the skyline.
Just wrote my non-training excuses in today's training - Fell down the stairs two weeks ago and couldn't walk on my left foot for a whole morning. Gradually got better, but now hurts if I compress the achillies. According to my Yoga teacher it's better than if I had stretched it. So have stopped running until it get's a bit better. In all honesty I probably could manage a light shuffle but I don't want to push it. And as I have said before not running is making me a tad moody...
Still not running ........... or riding my bike, ankle is hurting could it be broken? Is there a forum doctor ?:(
I've just bruised the roof of my mouth eating some Toblerone which has been chilled for a week :o .
Bump on achillies.. not stopping me doing any running but am getting annoyed with it when it pulls... think I am doing the right streches
Oh and still slightly dodgy belly after foolishly asking for chilli sauce on a spicy chicken keebab Sat night! FoOL!
