From the map I thought it was going to be a big pull from CP1 to CP2 but on the actual run it didn't seem too bad. Looking at that shot shows why - CP1 is much further up the slope than you expect.
Yes, the full climb up the fence from the intake wall at the bottom is a good 'un. I might include it next time.. :D

AS, if you like big sustained climbs, get yourself to the Bleasedale Circle race - see FRA Calendar or Bowland F.R. website - straight up Paddy's Pole from the W. Over 1000 feet!

I would, but it clashes with the longer Noonstones race on the same day which is one of my faves.
