Now if the authorities could erect signs round the full BGR asking people not to erect cairns to mark the BGR then there would be no need to erect cairns because the sheep doing the BGR could follow the signs!

Been up Beacon today and the wind shelter below the trig has been completely removed and it's stones replaced on the main cairn. Story was in Craven Herald recently and word is obviously out as walkers seemed to be putting any loose stones lying around back on the cairn too ;) Stunning day today btw :cool:
