I'd just like to acknowledge the generosity of our sponsors for the Herod Farm race, because we have a great list of prizes again:
Joe Barbers Plumber's Merchants of Glossop http://www.joebarber.co.uk/index.htm, our longstanding sponsor,
have again provided us with a fine set of prizes;
I'm also delighted to say that Rod Holt of Newleaf Designs http://www.newleaf-designs.co.uk/ has let us have a dozen of the rare and highly regarded 'Herod Farm Race' mugs featuring fine artwork (including the image of a certain race organiser) to give as prizes;
We also hope to have a number of bottles of ale from the local Howardtown brewery as well for some lucky finishers.
Finally, many thanks to Ann the landlady at the Drovers, for once again accommodating the race.
I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow night!
Cheers,
Werdna.
Big thanks to Werdna and his team, first time I've run this race and I really enjoyed it especially the climbs.
lots of Forumites there with LS and his camera ever present. I think he brought his twin brother as I swear I saw him twice.
Top tip though don't forget your fell shoes, those descents were a killer in road shoes Doh!
