Sunny day in Duddon Valley on Saturday and the pictures to prove it are here.
Not quite as sunny on Sunday so some mono images from then.
LDWA "Bottoms Up" in exceptional conditions - exceptionally muddy and exceptionally sunny.
Photos here.
Langdale Horseshoe 2012 photos here.
Excellent pictures of Langdale here as well.
Shameless plug....http://ahfirun.blogspot.co.uk/come on, I have 1 single follower.
I just followed you Al :D
I look forward to reading your entertaining and inspiring posts on the train ;)
Not all hits will be genuine. Some may be false resulting from Google searches led to your blog in error, and some will (eventually) be malicious once the scumbags find your blog site. For that reason, be very careful about clicking on website addresses that made contact. Unless it's obvious what it is - e.g. another blogger - don't click on it at all because then your own IP address may become a target as well as your blog. There may be spam posts as well, which should be deleted to remove the risk of legitimate browsers clicking on a malicious link.
You need good anti virus and anti malware protection. It's a jungle out there.
Had a glorious sunny afternoon on Saturday between Yewbarrow and Steeple. Wonderful after the sun cleared the clouds away.
Some photos here.
After a glorious sunny afternoon on Saturday in Wasdale, Sunday was even better for the walk with Joss.
Some photos here.
Looks like a great weekend Ian!
On the subject of "Joss"...http://ahfirun.blogspot.co.uk/2012/1...with-joss.html
Some photos from last Saturday on Winter Hill which made something of a contrast with the previous week in the Tramuntana Mountains on Mallorca. Scroll down from the Winter Hill one to see the sunny summer hills. Winter Hill photos here.
Well this could be classed as spam, as I haven't been running, but there are some pictures that may be of interest at the end. http://graemesnewstart2010.blogspot.co.uk/
If you liked Declans piece on Jura in this issue of the fellrunner, his article on the FTOP is now on the blog - with other bits and bobs obviously!

Winter Hill pics and an update on the problems with the new fences, here.
My new resolution, after daz, is to post more on the blogs I read.
When it gets annoying please feel free to let me know :)
I just had a nosey at your blog, Emmilou, it is good to read of the places you have been running, nice pics too
The bowland blog is brilliant em. I was reading it in bed on Saturday morning.
Loads of interesting and useful reports that are a great resource.
I enjoyed the write up in the fell runner about Jura. I like a writer who includes the little details.
Thanks Milli :-) got a bit of work to do on it which includes badgering people to contribute!! That was our Deckers I'll pass the message on although he's been known to pop in here from time to time :-)
I'm thinking of doing a blog next year, not really so much to self promote my obvious fantasticalness (joke in brackets) but more to act as a spur to myself to keep pushing my fellrunning 'envelope' :D. ( I already feel sorry for any possible followers). And of course I want to keep a record of the brilliant/ridiculous running/exploring experiences/disasters that I'm sure to have during 2013! Anyway I've looked at the google blogger but, unless I'm doing something wrong, it all seems intrinsically linked to google plus. It seems to want to force me to use my google plus profile for instance, a profile that doesn't really exist at the minute. Has anyone got any experience with the google blogger? Or are there better blog set ups?
That is what I use. I have had a Google email address for years and that is the main entry point to it. The Google + account just attaches itself to your gmail account. It is incredibly straightforward.
Pennine use WordPress (http://penninefellrunners.co.uk/wordpress/) but I do not know much about it.
I've used Google mail e-mail and Blogger for a couple of years and Google+ is not a problem at all
I started a few years ago using Blogspot, then it got taken over by Google and renamed Blogger. I've noticed that Google+ symbol but I've never dared to click on it or find out what it's all about. I've managed alright without invoking it. What does it do exactly?
Looking forward to your blog, Stolly.
emmilou, not checked yours out yet but I will.
I started a blog a while ago, at first as an experiment to see how easy it was to set up as we were changing the web site at the club. After a while it became quite cathartic and I didn't mind that I had no followers. I should say I did blame anyone as I was not the best blogger. I did manage to follow myself for a brief spell until I'd figured out unfollowing! I've now got 4 followers and beginning to feel a bit peeved at my low profile; still don't blame anyone. It was a bit of a secret diary but I obviously wanted someone to have a sneaky look.
So have a sneaky look!

I'll have a sneaky look Tubber. Stick you on my fellbound blogs page n all if thats OK. You've reminded me, I need to put a new entry on my main blog page. I've only put two on so far. The other night I got 600 of those spam things from a hand bag/perfume company. Don't know what they think us fell runners get up to.
Stick me on by all means. I smell a conspiracy, someone once bought £500 of French handbags on my credit card! Makes me think, I'm feeling slightly neglected as I've not had an email from any foreigners I've never met who've managed to develop a crush on me recently!
