Errr have you seen how maps there are thou!
I'm assuming you mean the hand written cartoon type map.......?
bloody ell its not just fri night and all day sat....its started already!
*goes off to find chocolate to cheer himself up*
this run is def going to take longer than we expect emm im sure
its a bloody long way.
i walked for 7 hrs the other week without stopping over the hills and i was muttering stuff to myself after 5 hrs
what pace are we planning on doing as im crap at pacing and crap at setting off slow.
so i want you to say how fast we are setting off at , surely its gonna bloody hurt after say 30miles
to be honest it'll hurt after just a few.
When we did the 32 it was literally a warm up slow jog pace all the way round, but with none of the adrenaline / endoprhin rush you get from racing my feet and legs were sore after only a few miles.....think it was about 15-16 when I started feeling ok!
Don't worry about pace I'll shout at you if you set off to fast!
Its going to be a horrible agony filled 9+ hours of sanity testing s***e.
Basically!
I have just had this conv with the work guys,
Im planning on running the downhills and flats and walking the uphills. Until I cant run anymore then its hang on for dear life.
Im sure you guys will finish before us, I'm not being rude not running with you guys. I have just promised work chaps I'll stick with them
Did you get the email about the route change between Ckp 6 and 7 to avoid the main road.
There are new maps to print that have noted this update.
See you friday chaps
Very best of luck to all doing this i hope it goes well wish i was with you all!
good luck and can't wait to read some of the comments!!
Calf told you about NOUH!!!!
seriously im hoping to run the lot:eek:
and emm has got us into this so she can be responsible for route choices
its going to take longer than 9 hrs im sure of that
What about NOUH??????????
i know you.....am thinking he's got the right idea
Steady on folks....
Daz, Im gonna plod round with work pals. I have sort of told them it will be okay and everything will be fine dong 50miles
I dont really want to put an preassure on them, they are pretty decent runners, but not really distance people.
We'll all start to together though, Ill just drop back if they struggle.
10 min miles and give us an hour and 40 for food stops and getting lost!
10 hours and we'll be rite!!!!!
Weather report is "heavy rain" between now and Sunday.
Gloop-a-minute all the way round, I reckon.
Well the only way to sort this is to have
