Meet at the Scarfell Hotel carpark at 10 for half past (just in case M6 a hassle:rolleyes: )

Mike - are you coming?

Please cut and paste and add your name on the list - you can PM me with mobile numbers etc then I can have a list in case of last minute cancellations/problems/lazyitus!!;)

I have the Garmin route from last time but don't bank on me being able to follow it!

I'll do my special pre-Annie Walsh training regime this week and see how I feel.

(pre-AW training = 2 3 miles runs in 6 weeks...) :eek:

How long are you looking to take on this in all seriousness?
Bit of a departure I know, I may come along if the following fit:
Not too fast 3-4mph, (6hr pace I think you said last time)
Not too wet, unlikely, and finally if it's nice can we have a sit down for a sandwich and pictures? :)

look now someone needs to help me take down the bearings , ive never had to do this before ever so help in the navigation department will be appreciated. dont laugh im not kidding :o
i really must do a navigation course, ive been lucky so far in races but i fear if the clag is down ive had it :(

Am sorting out familial arrangements but hope to be there. Since I've only got a bit over 4 days to get ready, best ask now: would people say Mudrocs (the green ones) or Wave Harriers?

Mudrocs, I'd say, if it's going to be wet, which I expect it will be you'll need something for wet rock.

Buy Pete Bland's map. It's only £2.50. Not sure whether they stock it at IKEA though!:rolleyes:

I wore 290s last year and really regreetted it. The flags down the corridor are bloody horrible when wet - seriously greasy and there are lots of other places where a bit more grip doesn't go amiss.;)

I'm going for an easy run tonight to see if my achilles problem has cleared. If so not withstanding the fact that I haven't done anything long since the 3 peaks will be there on Saturday -will decide over the next couple of days.

I haven't bought any shoes since November. Anyway my fell shoes went missing in action....

Not sure where everyone is travelling from but I'm taking the 'tour bus':rolleyes:

room for another 5 people - if anyone is happy leaving there car in Preston you can cadge a lift! We've used a hotel carpark right off the M6 and so far so good:cool:

PM me if you want to lighten the load off the Scarfell hotel car park! - first come first served although I can be bribed!!;)
