anyone else coming for a run up to the Pinner?
I'm going to wander round and take photos :-) The ground's pretty dry at the moment and with the footpath improvements on the Pennine Way it'll be fast running.
There's another event nearby (a couple of miles away) - http://www.ukcyclocross.com/events/y...ool-crosshills so there might be a bit more traffic in that area.
Hark at you two! If I'm running, I'll be trying out my 'not done much for a while' legs. But probably, I'll be marshalling.
That's brilliant Dino, well done. I was 9 mins slower than last year in 4.03. So a bit fed up to be fair. Had no speed & only just managed a sprint over the last 50 yards to beat a clubmate ! Very unsporting, I know.
Oy Macali ! Lay off, I'm a veteran 40 now & need to treat my body accordingly ! I'll hopefully be there with my son. Any idea how far the U14 race will be ? A mile or so I'm guessing ?
I'm only jealous. Once you get to V40 it's an achievement to get out of bed.
I am reliably informed that the U14s is 3.5406 km.
See you tomorrow night guys  My first short race for months. It'll be brutal
Thanks Macali.
What a smashing evening. Great to meet you Tindersticks and good to catch-up with Bob, Scottie, Livi, Feet, biara, Dino and GrahamB
Some shots now online at https://plus.google.com/photos/11530...025?banner=pwa

cracking race and lovely evening. good photos Bob.
wharfee, I didn't catch what you said about the green woodpecker but then heard it yaffling after I'd run past where you were
Not at all.
i heard the woodpecker drumming away in the wood in the gill near the start/finish whilst I was taking those shots
Well what a lovely bunch of folk came together tonight - it was a joy to register you all and put some faces to forumites, esp Tindersticks!
A beautiful evening, good to catch up and get out the house
Kildwick in a fortnight, who's playing out?

Nice videos, Kevin. Enjoyed the fact I was overtaking/out of control (delete as applicable) in the downhill one.
Great race and a lovely night for it. Good to talk to Derby Tup and Tindersticks (hope Scotland is as warm and sunny for you) plus others. Looking forward to a summer of similar nights on the hills with friends.
Hi DinoF, well done last night so soon after the 61miler Fellsman, good to chat with you.

Sssh! Don't be naughty!
Just for the avoidance of any doubt - all the junior runners were running in their correct categories. I've checked!
