Hey Zeph - it's a good job that stile was really dry and not muddy because someone could have gone seriously a over t if it had been muddy and greasy and they were trying to jump over it with some fancy vaulting technique...;)
Vaulting technique? That wasn't vaulting technique, I was showing you how to recover from a really bad attempt at going over a stile. Just for future reference y'understand.
Twas an excellent roll'an'recovery if I do say so myself.

Not a everybody was having as much fun as the runners!
the marshalls did a brilliant job and I think all they had a great time, this lovely one was very cheery and encouraging as I passed.

apologies for the lack of pictures, but my normal photographer type lackey (cyclops) had the temerity to be *running* in the race rather than stand around in the rain recording the occasion. So if anyone has any lovely pics, drop us a line so's I can nick em and put them on the blog. You will of course get pic credits and my eternal gratitude.

Have you tried clicking the refresh button at the top (or F5) when you're on the page? Your computer might be showing what it already has stored instead of downloading the latest page.

Fun race, thanks to all involved for organising and staffing, loved that first downhill, nearly came a cropper off a ledge overhanging some heather.
Tough one tonight, especially after the Calderdale on Saturday. Don't know how the time was, but seemed hard work...
