That's a bit offensive to DT.

and (seriously) good news stef. Take it easy xx
Great news Stef :D
Brilliant news Stef. I'm very glad to hear you're out and about again.
Stef, the road to Damascus started with one step, easy does it, xx
Since I have to take it slowly and ease in carefully, I'm going to try on some Vibram 5 Fingers in the morning :w00t:
I think I'll need some finger sox too though or my tootsies might freeze!
Ok it's time for another reminder especially as there are some new ladies on here since this threas was last active; the message as always - please go and get a smear done if you're due or over due one.
My troubles are not over yet; I have a scan booked for tomorrow.
Stef
Good Luck Stef:)
Thanks Steve and Alexandra
The scan wasn't as horrendous as I thought it would be, and the most scary thing that was suggested might've gone wrong has been ruled out, thankfully. Will post again when I've been to see the consultant to get the results.
Just a minor proceedure needed that can be done as a day case; phew!
Brilliant news Stef. Not commented on this thread before but I have wished you well quite often, having gone through minor procedures myself in the past I know what you've been going through. getting to the 'it's just a minor procedure' is hard and really tough. here's to wishing you a quick next stage and moving forwards :)
Fab news Stef
Had my check up 3 months back & all good here still. First one since I lost my friend 2 years ago, so this time I really thought very deeply about it. I felt such relief
Good news Stef, I hope this is the end of your troubles..:)
Thanks everyone :)
It's time for me to start some serious training now. I think I'm almost at the end of this; I've had a test for pre cancerous cells and none were found.
I have some weight to shift, some miles to burn, and a lot of hill therapy to catch up on. Soon it'll be camping and bivvying weather again
Stef
xx
Brilliant.....great news
Ken and Karen xx
Great news and a big relief I am sure.:D
Been in a similar postition myself and couldn't stop smiling all the way home... "I AM THE LUCKIEST MAN ALIVE!" was (and still is) my mantra.
You and DT look after yourselves and hope to se you in May;)
My minor procedure is tomorrow. DT is taking me to the hospital at 7am. Hopefully by lunchtime I'll be fixed once and for all!
Stef went down for her op around 8am and I'm hoping to pick her up from the hospital this afternoon
Many thanks for the kind wishes and thoughts!
Good luck to you both.... hope all's well
Andy, just spotted this latest development. Heartfelt best wishes to you and the lovely Stef.
Ian.
Hi all
I'm home now and am chilling out on the sofa with my feet up and the sun streamimg in. I've got a really good feeling that all is going to be well from now; ok I have to finish healing but psychologically I feel completely restored :)
48 hours seems a long time to have to wait before I can crack open a bottle of bubbly to celebrate :p
I feel a contented snooze coming on :closed:
Stef
xx
Wow; I've just read an email promoting the Icelandic OMM in May...........I am seriously tempted; it looks amazing
Thank you. All went well an the sun is shining as an added bonus!
Yes another run out sometime would be good :) I'd like to explore Brimham Rocks some time when it's light enough to see them, meanwhile another trot up the Beacon, lamb spotting and a dip in the Wharfe would do nicely :)
