KP or bust now... no-one else in the side can play spin well enough to rack up a big score. If some combo of Cook, Bell, Patel and maybe Prior can stay with him up to a double ton, that'd see us up to around 400. Cheeky 50 from Broad, few big shots from Swann and Bresnan and we'll be at 500 before you know it and the match'll have draw written all over it. Easy.
More realistic scenarios are also available.
I'm amused that we're talking about KP as the potential saviour - against spinners!!
Surely India have a left arm spinner, against which KP averages about 10.
