Cheers, that's two offers. I can easily get to anywhere between Oxenholme or less easily to somewhere like Foxfield on the south coast. i'LL take a lift from the person it'll cause the least bother to to pick me up!

White vests are due any day now- they say to allow 6 weeks for turnaround but generally speaking it tends to be 3-4 weeks max......will let you know when they have arrived.

So who has the biggest car with the most legroom for a long thin ballbag? The fat ballbag or the lowfat ballbag:D ?

I'm presuming you'll drive up the M6 and onto the A590 at Levens? If so what time would you reckon to get to Oxenholme/Kendal? (I could just as easily get to Lancaster if it's easier). Next question is what time would you be planning to leave on Sunday? Would someone be able to drop me off at Kendal on Sunday so I can catch a bus to Carlisle (no bloody trains because of engineering work that day):mad: ?

Mine is a deceptively spacious Meriva...

I never even begin to think about my journeys until a couple of minutes before they begin and then i just follow sat-bitch.

But dont worry DeeJay, if you let me know your eta and where you need a pick up from, i'll arrange my "plans" to suit, no problem.

Off course, Merrylegs is likely to come along with a better offer and a bigger car;)

Wow, DJ do you work in the Department of Transport or WHAT!!!!! Sounds like it by these recent posts that have totally confused a mere tradesman.
I can make one decision for your department colleagues aka Master and merrylegs, i will take the long skinny one back over to the North east and dump him at Darlington Station.,,,, is that decisive enough!!!!! BRING THE CARROT CAKE :)

WELL DONE MRS C AND MICK at the Old County tops, Dalo, Deno Stevo and I saw a few of old county toppers around Scafell pike whilst helping a couple of lads from Bristol on their BG attempt, pleased to say they made it!
Mr and Mrs C is there a list out yet, and where is base camp please????

The "list" is on a little scrap of paper and is likely to stay that way:cool:

You are down for Leg 1 and Leg 5....base camp is the same campsite we were at for yours last year but i shall be in a hotel in Keswick:D

Right, we're nearly sorted, you just can't rely on that Master chappie, whoever he is :D If you like I can easily get to Foxfield earlier, say for 3pm to save you the bother of trekking up and down the valley?
