Lucky indeed. A good dollop of ability goes a long way too. I was reasonably pleased with my Kinder Trial this year. 16 precious points was a big improvement on the zero I would have earned last year. Some have got it and some nevah, eh Marvin? ;)Quote:

Mickledon yesterday for me, 2 hrs 8 mins 50 seconds with Tim Ellis winning in 1 hr 39 mins 27, i make that 70 points. Does that put me top (at least till Tindersticks lets you know his result which was ahead of me even though he said he wasn't running well). :w00t:

I'm not doing so well on the race front this year having elected to miss some of the races I was planning to do due to getting better offers that suit my training more (longer runs and good company). I should start having a few scores from the beginning of March though and lots planned for spring/early summer. So far events where I have places in are High Peak Marathon, Edale Skyline, Three Peaks, Lakeland 50.
