Jamming session at the Huntsman, Thurlstone tonight promises to feature, as well as the usual half dozen musicians, Paul (George Formby) Casper and his pal from Vancouver, Ralph Shaw who also plays the ukulele. Both turned up last Wednesday and went down a treat, I missed it as I was away, but the reports were brilliant.
We missed it as well. We didn't want to upset the locals so we (19 of us) went in to the back room, What we did hear though was pretty good. Can't make tonight though, some thing about a fotball match.....Quote:

I have just enjoyed a blast of vintage James Last on Digital Compact Cassette and recorded it to my computer for posterity and future indulgence.
Ms. Latrine sounds like a singing Android. I wonder if she can sing in tune without synthesised autotuning, or do modern fads/abominations override what talent there might have been?

Coming back from band practice on Tuesday night listening to Mark Radcliffe, he played Dilly by Band of Horses. Bought the album Infinite Arms last night. Brilliant, sound a bit like Teenage Fanclub. No bad thing.
