20 push ups........
I did 7and a half last night, on unlit back roads, with a head torch.
It was a bit spooky, worrying about axe murderers, but lots of good climbing.
I think I'll go for a swim tonight, although do feel a bit sick after the pancake fest.
Nice to meet you today Ian, should have recognised you from your photo on the dark peak site but you had a few more clothes on today. Sounds like a great route and definatley plenty of rough stuff , you had some nice war wounds on the shins to prove it.
Mrs. Barry and me where very pleased with our little tour of grinah/barrow stones and the Source of the Derwent sign thankyou. It was Mrs Barry's longest run to date (hence her looking a litle bemused!) but now that we're home with beer in hand she's well chuffed with the discoveries and amazed at your enthusiasm. 11 miles and about 2,500' for the record as we're on today's training.
Good luck with the Rigby and look forward to reading about it on here or the DPFR site.
Been o ff sick with virual illness, no running since for 3 weeks.
Started back tonight very steady did a 2.5mile run. Felt good.
Gradually does it!!!!! for he first 2 weeks.
Hi CREAD, I was also laid up for approx 3 weeks with chest and sinus infection, no running at all :(. Just been back running for a week now, first few runs nice and steady, kept the HR low..past three days just clicked straight back into it :) Funny thing is I probably think that the forced rest did me some good :). Snowdon seems to be filling up nicely.
4 pushups:)
1:04:13hr a very showery recovery paced run, nice to be out there :)
7miles from home to Holmebridge to collect the car. Steady road run along what I call the "Cumberworth" skyline... Beautiful out.
Not a beautiful bill from the mechanic though.... :(
8 Miles and 2,500' on Pendle today. Sun came through and it turned out nice. Not a gel or Mars bar wrapper in sight either :)
6.75 miles on club training night last night including 8 x 3.5 minute efforts with 2 mins recovery around Clarkes Gardens.
