Jeez i may have given up running by then........
Its true. Unless you count; forgetting a sleeping mat at moel eilio, forgetting a tent, sleeping bag and stove at saddleworth summer do, forgetting gas canisters for my group on my 5 day DofE final. Taking 2 left shoes to the english schools cross country last year....but other than that im an angel
Hopefully the sharp edge team discovered something about themselves. Ive done that ascent a few times and to be fair it was tricky and not the best of days, but thats what fell running is all about.
So many times we are able to simply run over the mountains. Its good for people to experience the power of a mountain face in winter time.
Well done to you all
Im proud of you.
Thanks to Amex for the mulled wine and deep filled ( not a standard ) mince pie.
Lovely route and Id never ran that bit off the tongue before so was well pleased with that
I really enjoyed that attempt to get on sharp edge, and in a strange twisted 19 year old way i really enjoy it.
Glad you suggested we head up there, even though i did think you where sending us to an early gravel at first.
Ive got a story to tell the grand kids anyway.;)
No worries Al, care about you all, that's what's great about fell running, everyone gets on and has a good time and has happy memories of every time they meet up, Mr Brightside was worried about not knowing anyone, it mattered not and i bet he felt at home in minutes. Even the mrs. who has slated me for 'talking to your mates on the bloody forum' was touched at how everyone got on. Bought her a pair of trainers today and hoping to get her to do a fell race next year, she won't come last, but i might:cool:
