I've lost a stonein 8 wks and still drink.
Only ale at Fri or Sat and G&T other times with low calorie tonic.
Might as well join the cloth as stop supping.

We ended up with some tins of Carlesberg in the shed (left over from show, I would never buy it), I came home from fishing yesterday and rather than open a bottle of proper beer I grabbed a can of the Carlesberg to try.
That stuff is disgusting, do people honestly pay money for it and drink it out of choice? Yuk.
My intention to have a Dry January didn't last very long.

Beet it beetroot juice is my tipple of choice and has been for a few years now, not teetotal as I enjoy a nice drop of Brandy occasionally.

Three pints of Matlock Wolds Farm Brewery very drinkable High Tor at the Lathkil Hotel. Went outside at 7.55 to see the International Space Station orbit past.
Whilst outside chatted to a bloke who, like me, spent time working on Unst, the northernmost Island of The Shetlands. What small world we live in!

Following my bike ride I took the dogs for a walk and they dragged me into the Lathkil Hotel for a couple of pints of Magic Mushroom Mild from Whim Brewery, Hartington.
Good to here MMM from Whim is still available. We used to drink their beers in the Flowerpot in Derby in the 90’s
In Wales for Cader Idris so tonight sampling a couple from the Cwrw Ogwen brewery.
Caradog - a hoppy IPA.

After a busy day mowing grass in the hot sun the Farmers Blonde from The Bradfield Brewery was sliding down nicely this evening.
Enjoy Llani its a good brew. How does the grass look?
On a balmy evening without even noticing I devoured four pints of delicious Trilogy from The Three Brothers Brewing Company. Not the best preparation for Sheldon tomorrow!

A couple of pints of Storm Brewery's Summer Breeze. Yes, it made me feel fine.
Visiting Llani for a couple of days and over the last few years beers from The Wye Valley Brewery have become an ever present. All their beers are fantastic with Butty Bach a staple. However tonight a couple of pints of Hopfather slid down rather well.
Brew Dog cybernaut. A rather lovely session IPA. A hint of citrus and tropical fruit in a hazey wheat laden ale.
Last Friday I discovered that I actually know the owner of the mad goose that inspired the Purity ale of the same name. Used to go around the brewery terrorising visitors. Obviously made an impression! 😁
Just had a bottle of Loweswater Gold.
A very nice brew.
Following a lovely run around the upper Manifold/Dove Valleys at lunchtime had a couple of pints of Stancill Brewery's Now Then. Really hit the spot!
