Has anyone checked their local junk shop lately? On tonight's Antiques Roadshow their's another Rene Lalique statue bought from a junk shop for less than £1. In my infinite ignorance i'm going to value it at £1789-£2547, that's my estimate.

I'm pissed off...tried to get my laptop on t'internet by installing a wireless router and it won't get past step 1 on the 'easy' setup CDROM, just says to check the connections :confused: so i ring Belkin's helpline and gets some guy in an Indian callcentre who can't understand what i'm saying and complains that my speech is very slow, why do you think that is mate?
So i ring Virgin in case there's a compatibility problem and get another Indian callcentre, this time the language barrier wasn't too bad but the best she could do was to suggest i buy a Virgin wireless router instead.
I've asked a mate to come and look at it who's a network administrator and he thinks i've not entered my IPA address or something but the 'easy' Belkin guide said nowt of that. Why can't you just tighten a screw or oil it a bit if it won't work?...i'm pissed off:mad:
Sat in orthodontists awaiting some x-ray results. Good news is my braces will be out next visit, so back to normal by the 11th Feb. Yippee!:D

Not sure when I'll be let out again. But still got lots to do for Christmas.....presents to wrap....housework :(...packing up to go to the in-laws....and waiting to hear if hubby is going to get home today....(all the flights were stopped yesterday so everyone's been put back and delayed)....or it's Christmas without Daddy for my babba :(
