Daz- I thought the cut offs at Duddon were ok- these ones look a tad tougher- but I s'pose its Wasdale after all!

from my experience every fell race goes off harry flatters for the first 5 or 6 miles irrespective of distance, terrain, fitness or glycogen stores...so the first few cut off's aren't probably too much to worry about ( hopefully )
the last one will be though as I'm guessing many will burn out by then ?
The conditions for each race were very different last year, but I was very slow at Ennerdale and was well within the cut offs, but got timed out at Great Gable at Wasdale.Quote:

Also - is anyone of the Dark Peak/Sheffield Persuasion likely to be heading back to Sheffield on the Saturday evening after the race? My lift's dropped out and i've got an entry for a chariddy race on Sunday - PM me if you can help!
If not, I'll just have to spend an extra night in the lakes, which wouldn't be too bad!
