62 on the bike this morning, a bit on the frosty side on the back roads hence 3 offs (not me). Run, bike, bike run is the plan for the next 4 days, hope the rain stays away.

10 x 1.30 min hill reps with same recovery on the way down over Copley,Stalybridge
About an hour doing a good chunk (as far as I can make out never having actually run the race) of the Settle Hills fell race route, albeit in reverse. Last half in the dark having seen a blood red sun set going down over Pendle Hill on the horizon :)
45 mins in very heavy snow and a temp of -10. I cant say I enjoyed it to be honest. I need to invest in some better cold weather gear
Ran round the resers tonight. No snow ajohns!!!!
HURRAH.
I jogged for 15 mins.........first outing after 9 smegging weeks of hamstring hell.
Ice attached I sit here smiling wistfully: are there still fells out there??
A touch over an hour up a frosty Pendle hill this morning, pretty hard under foot. Didn't see another soul. Bit of mist lurking so no views to be had.
4.5 Mile on the Canal around Hyde at lunchtime with the middle Two Miles at 6.50 Pace. :)
14 mile round the 1st Half of Edale, very hard under foot, and a good wind chill factor and only about 150yards visability.
Good company though with the Flying Swoop, Tea & Cake, Mrs Stagger and John Mac from Rossendale.
5 miles on the road. Lovely, if you like cars, bikes and trucks!
a lovely fell run last night around luvshacks back garden under the clear sky, then home , no sleep after then work all day then 8 miles with the dog just
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz bang im gone
erst eysteryad nad otday tyr hgain 2mw
19-ish miles very frosty miles with AJF over the hills along Howden edge, about 2,200ft in 4.00 hours . We could have gone a bit faster with ice skates but it was beautiful up there.
So thats how you pronounce it, well done!
I forgot to train, but carried a bag of shopping from the supermarket by way of compensation. Could see the fells though.
81 fairly cold miles on the bike up to Ribblehead & Ingleton at 17.5 average. Back up that way for a run either Monday or Wednesday.
nice 9 miler off road today with about 1500 ft ascent
about 25 mile for the week, which is alot for me :D
Well done Fleeter. Its all coming back now.
I,ve just done a steady 4 mile on roads and it's chilly.
Decided to give the Stoop a miss as I didn't fancy running round a tight course in frozen conditions with over 300 others. Settled for a solo 4 hour plod round Kinder. Very enjoyable and met most of the Pennine runners out on their handicap race as they were going in the opposite direction to me.
I did the Stoops race today. A bit trecharous under foot in places due to frozen ground and swamp like bogs. Good run out today though enjoyed it.
Did the Bolsover 10km today. Pleased with 33:18 given it was classed as undulating. Wasn't impressed with my road-race shoes I got for £20 from TK Max (fila?)specially for the race - shite! Caused me to slip over on a corner losing a bit of time.
from glenridding to helvellyn in the dark tonight......wohooooooo.
Too damn icy to reach the top of helvellyn..only about 5 minutes from top and had to turn back. Wise move.... retraced our steps. Slippy as ....hell..
Good to have layers of winter gear on up there....
the grisedale horseshoe wasnt meant to be tonight!!!
4 mile round the resers in Tintwistle
felt crap tonight but my lad dragged me out for a run with the dog
8 miles over the hills trudging behind my son and the dog. Felt very proud at the end of the run as thats the furthest my boy has ever ran , not bad for a 14yr old and i had a tear in my eye as i banged the mud off the walsh's
Excellent effort by Young Daz,:) pity about the old man:o
Hill reps for me tonight 1000" and 4.5 mile
Starting to really enjoy training again;)
45 mins stomping through the snow on the country roads around my house. Hard work and had to wrap up really warm. When I got back spent an hour shovelling snow which was exhausting
Went outside this morning at 7.00am to warm the car up and noticed on the thermometer that the temp was -21C !! brrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Very enjoyable 11 miles/2150' around Crummack Dale, Ingleborough and Thwaites Scar - bit of blue sky but lots of haze so not brilliant for taking pics but I have uploaded one I took anyway - Looking across Ribblesdale from Sulber Gate. New Paramo windproof smock felt comfotable but no nasty winds to put it through it's paces.
At my parents house on the edge of the peak this week, Yesterday 9.5 miles from Beesely around Chatsworth moor/edge/estate, 300m ascent.
Today, Totley AC's, '6 hills' route on blackamoor from Totley, good route for hill reps, ~7 miles, 600m ascent.
Tommorrow may do the Tigger Tor rote but start at lady Cannings Plantation.
Last night 1h45 around Bamford with the Sheffield Hash House Harriers- no idea of distance but about 485m ascent.
Tonight hopefully Pym Chair- Shining Tor- reservoir- Pym Chair
7.5 mile road run tonight around Cronton, Farnworth and Ditton.

In Carrbrook this morning it was +2.5oc, but the wind was making it feel like -21!!!!
12 x 2mins off 1 min jog recovery last night.
Going to rush out of work at 2.59 to get home and run on the moors in the daylight.

Ran badly in Heaton Park, gave blood yesterday and it really made a difference.
