Enjoyed this last year. Count me in again. Ill do both days although the friday loft session may be a bit much for my nightlife stamina. Great area for a run Amex

Last year we tried a few things out that had not been done before and they seemed to work, so they are in for all this year!
Wives girlfriends lovers partners all welcome

Attend one or two days walk on the first day run on the second

Day one meet 12 noon for a walk to England's highest mountain via a few other lumps, for those who cant walk meet the George 9 pm then beer! then Loft last year a few hardy souls made the loft 2 days in a row i for one aim to repeat this fine act!

Day two Run, the run this year is the beautiful St Johns in the Vale, approx 10 mile 2000ft on the return there is an additional hill if you need the climb meet as always 10 am moot hall or sewage works 10.30
half way round surprise will be on again with a twist ;)
The meet will be at 7 pm on the Saturday night meal booked for 8 pm round town then loft!
With reduced admission the catch phrase this year is "i only shop online for beetroot"
i would be honoured if you would attend either one day or two or just the curry and beer!

Route for the walk on the Friday is as follows seatoller up to styhead tarn-corridor route then turn off for lingmell - Scafell pike - broad crag - ill grag - great end - Allen Crag - Glaramara - seatoller
meet around 11.30 start walk for 12 late start due to keeping out of pub till late ( don't forget your really bright torches i alas will use the force)

Ay up Em, all i can say for definite is that i'm not doing the run or the walk but i will be doing the curry and The Loft. I might come up a day earlier an go to the pub on friday night and just go fishing or something on run day before meeting at the pub. The saturday night curry is a deffo though, cheers m'dears.

Thats should be ok Mr B, I am sure that there will be plenty of other people joining the category - Not doing the walk or the run, but doing both days, but fishing and currying and lofting, but only lofting on the sat because pubbing on the friday.

Only joshing Mr B, good luck with the rehab programme.

Yay! I will be in this country this winter, so count me in :)

Mr Hanneke doesn't run but would no doubt love to join us for a walk and can always go for a ride on the Saturday while we run :) Haven't asked him yet mind... but I am sure he'd love to meet you wild lot ;)
