Sounds like a good day pilgrim

Glorious weather here now - shame I've got to go back home. Just changed a flat tyre and noticed the brakes need changing too.
Working from home today so I can get my punctured car tyre fixed. My spare is a 50 mph limit one so I don't think I would be too popular if I went on the motorway to work with it
Not a bad day for staying in by all accounts..
Just been to pick up my tyre. Cold out there brrrr!
Cold and very wet
Still, it's making me be good and hit the books.
guten Morgen
Looks like the forum clock has been reset now :D
Coffee lady's here. That's better.
Day off work today
Looking out of the front window at my practically leafless Silver Birch the raindrops on the twigs are catching the sunlight and some of the drops show up as a bright blue colour
Mind you it also reminds me the windows need cleaning as well
Cold around here!
Really like your quote at the bottom by the way Alf. Where did you get it from?
Its from a poem "The Victims" by Sharon Olds that I posted on the poetry thread last night. http://forum.fellrunner.org.uk/showt...-poet/page1020
Can someone come and wash my windows please :D
:sneaky:
Excuses excuses!
Windows have been cleaned. Its a whole new world out there now http://i592.photobucket.com/albums/t...gebit/grin.gif
Does anyone know why the boxing thread got locked?
Wasn't me! I set the poll to run for 1 day, which ended about 5-30pm yesterday - didn't think the thread would get locked as well?
It's oh so quiet... shh... shh... :closed:
But it's not now, madhouse here, kids and dog av gone ballistic, battle of breakfast rages:w00t:
I could pop round in my new persona, talking softly but carrying a big stick?
Just watching the England match yawwwwnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!
Car is knackered this morning  I thought it was the shock absorber but after jacking it up the front nearside spring is broken. Amazing how it could break sat on the drive  Of course my breakdown insurance doesn't include home rescue. However a big sigh of relief it didn't break at 70 mph in the fast lane of the motorway. My local garage is only a couple of miles away so I am hoping they don't charge me an arm and a leg for recovery.
Apart from that its fairly quiet around here.
Darts tonight at Wolverhampton. Won't be quiet around there.
I wonder if it's possible to be spending an evening doing/watching something that's more of a polar opposite of the world of fell running!
Hope everyone has a good evening.
They have just been to pick my car up and this fell out :w00t: (notice the non usage of metric  )
