No brainer dom. Just make sure you take a coat; it can be cold sat outdoors this time of year :closed:
Just watching the celebrations in Tahrir Square in Cairo. I could have sworn they were chanting "Cameron out ":D
Bl**ding car won't start today again!. This happened last Wednesday morning as well though eventually I got it started but the local Garage couldn't find anything wrong with it ? I have tried thrashing it with a bit of the privet hedge but it still doesn't want to play
Can't believe the privet didn't work!
Maybe you need to use alternative transport on Wednesdays :closed:
Apparently it doesn't like Wednesdays http://i592.photobucket.com/albums/tt8/midgebit/huh.gif
..and you can bet that as soon as the bloke from the garage arrives it will start 1st time for him ! http://i592.photobucket.com/albums/t...ebit/shake.gif
Oh undoubtedly.
I am procrastinating. Uni work is making me http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g2...-smiley-33.gif
Car started this morning :D
Apparently the Wednesday thing is because that is the only day of the week my car is parked overnight behind my wife's car and as a result it is on the sloping bit of our drive. There is an existing problem with air getting into the fuel line and when it is on a slope the fuel retreats all the way back to the fuel tank. This means it takes a lot more pumping of the manual fuel pump and turning over of the engine to get started than a small air gap when it is on a level surface. The garage think they have found and fixed where air is getting in but next Wednesday will be the real test!
I'm also enjoying the car saga. I think ITV are considering making it into a six part drama! :)
Off to the Premier League of Darts in Nottm tonight. Fell running it ain't!
Well after 7 weeks almost drink and choc free I had a mega blow out yesterday as a belated birthday treat.
Need to go for a run sometime today to sweat some of the ale out.
Back on track now and Pendle on the 2nd April is the goal.
Car started first time this morning looks like the Wednesday problem has gone away and this time they fixed it. They found a couple of leaky tubes using a "smoke test" to identify them
However the drama of the washing machine has replaced it center stage
What's happening with the washing machine Alf?
Loving the weather today! Blue skies and nice warm temp here in the West Midlands.
Oh yes it is so Spring-like now
Looking forward to my week in N Yorks the week after next
We had a week on the Yorks/Durham border a couple of weeks ago and the two gorgeous days were delightful (and the 5 wild ones made us appreciate them all the more). Got out everyday for a walk or run, brilliant. Can't wait to go back.
What shall I write for my 3000th post - any ideas?!!
Both kids in London with their Grandma visiting Sister in Law.
Eerily Quiet Around Here:closed:
De-mob happy - week off in the Dales next week on my dad's boat - hurry up hurry up hurry up
Well I have tried logging into the wireless internet from the house across the canal - I thought it might be unsecured, being as they have no neighbours other than 4 narrowboats, but sadly I couldn't use it :o
Good job I have unlimited data on my phone... Although whether or not I have a signal up there is yet to be seen!

A bit windy today. The cat was half way through the cat flap when a gust of wind sent the recently emptied wheelie bin flying in his direction. He panicked and tried to get back through the flap backwards but at the last second shot out forwards narrowly missing the bin. :w00t:
Probably the most exciting thing that will happen to him today (and me as well  ).
So, what has been happening while I have been away? :closed:
Usual I suspect.
Some Ale drinking with interspersed running in the fells :)
Make some noise, it's FRIDAY:thumbup:
