Whoooooop, whooooop!!
Still a long day's work to go yet... Come back to me at half 4. Although, that's not taking into account the slow wind-down. Or the extended afternoon break, the long lunch, or the very relaxed breakfast... Thinking about it, come back to me at half 9!
Oh, look at the time. Have a good weekend!
I have been winding down since Wednesday. last day in my current job today!
Simultaneous ---> :boohoo: for leaving a nice place and ------> for exciting new start.
Aye :)
Was loving friday this morning, nice weather, bets placed for Gold Cup, we all went for a kick about at dinner, and now I'm injured for the foreseeable future!
How fortunes change :)
Hehe, well it was strange really. Was running about, then felt slight pain in the ankle, thought nothing of it because I hadn't been in any bad challenges, then after about 5 mins, I looked down and noticed a golf ball size lump on the inside of my ankle!
Went to med centre, and now confined to quarters. Ligaments they say.
Just heard my first FLYMO of the year :w00t:
Quick Alf, get the shorts on and shades :)
Thanks merry steve legs :)
Only 44 minutes left in at work here - I want to go and put my party clothes on now :closed:
QAH. Stef's on her way mind. Time I started making tea and got my vacuum cleaner out :closed:
Bit depressed I'm missing out on such a fantastic day for running.
Ah well, on the upside, its a perfect day for spending in the beer garden! :)
I was just trying to concentrate on a particularly tricky bit of work when the postman delivered my latest 'Strider' mag. Work put aside temporarily
There's an article I saw after a quick look through called "The Stagger Years" (no can't be him can it ? :D )
Very relieved Hursty now, after giving a presentation to a 2 Star Air Vice Marshal and countless other officers and NCO's.
Was a definite case of 50p-5p-50p-5p ! :)
There's a helicopter hovering over my road at the moment :w00t:
My brain is breaking.
I am working from home till further notice
They are still trying to set up a virtual private network link to a new client at the office despite the fact I can access it from my internet connection at home
I told them there was no rush to get the link and I would put up with the sacrifice of working from home
:w00t: Alright for some!
I am 4 days into new job and have to say that folk definitely are much more friendly up North - however they have filled my head full of stuff to know and I feel a bit like this ----> Attachment 4589
Hey Mrs One Hill, what race are you doing at the weekend? Hope the new job is going well x
It's just a lil local race MG, a 10k round the park ;)
Not a fell race, I am not ready yet :)
Gorgeous weather today. Can't wait to get out there, even though 'out there' is going to be a track for me tonight.
Hope the weather holds and everyone gets some lovely running in over the weekend.
Got some lovely running in today from Glen Clova, couldn't wait for the weekend. Saw the biggest herd of deer I'd ever seen and managed some glissading to boot
Anyway, it's friday and 5pm, get your running kit ready and get yourself out there this weekend. Weather has been very spring like this week hope it holds out for the weekend for ya
Hi All,
I hope you are all well?
Ive been very ill lately, just had redundancy, and unable to even walk properly let along run.
But always wonder how you are all doing.
Have a great day.
