Thought about you when caravan stick was being dished out
Anyone camping last week or two should have had a good do
Just starting hour 13 of my working day... What's the weather been like, have I missed anything in this windowless hell hole???
Horrible day in Wharfedale too. Views from Buckden Pike restricted by hail and thunderstorms. Beer in Fleece this evening flat and rancid. Happy Easter dom :closed:
It really has been a horrible day on the North east coast Dom... we have been weighed down by a think sea fog for the last 3 days....not a hint of sunshine since Wednesday morning!
Yes same here. We had to stay in and do DIY, it was truly horrendous.
I've never known the forecasters get it so wrong!!
Luckily here in West Leeds we missed the snow but was sleeting most of the day:thunbdown:
Just me and a Web Spider! Very QAH! Hey Merry, I knew someone on the forum would be on the wrong end of my latest caravan rant. Nothin' personal and glad to see you took it in good heart. Also glad to note we are both frustrated campers. You should try an OMM one day (if you haven't already)....best example of extreme camping this side of Camp 4!!!!
Always try and take stuff in good heart Wheeze, plenty of caravaners out there who can't drive reet and tow caravans that are too heavy for their cars resulting in matchsticks and tailbacks on motorways, love to do an OMM one day if i'm allowed out long enough (dam that ball and chain who hates camping!)
... QAH ... Waiting for an estate agent to come and value the house ... :closed:
Definately QAH around here - I think most people have taken the 3 days off to make a long holiday for not many holiday days taken?
The lengths you have to go to to get your kid's to go to bed, daughter has just informed me i need a makeover to make me look pretty. Did tell her there's not enough make-up in the world to do that, but she insists, agreed on an Extreme Makeover, QAH now:thumbup:
I'm feeling so gouchy and lethargic aswell. I'm sleeping up to 13hrs a night and can't be arsed doing anything, usually i sleep about 9hrs and constantly chomp at the bit. I've kicked the Diclofenacs to see if it helps as the list of side effects is as long as yer arm, just on Flucloxacillin for now. I'm doing Coiners on monday so i'd better get out and do something today- a tour de Thruscross perhaps.
Having said that, it's Higgins Vs Williams this aft; and it looks like the clock is ticking for a Higgins comeback. The enevitability of it must be a good test of Mark's matchplay.
I am in a bad mood. Running kit on and currently confined to the house.
GGRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I should have been elsewhere but we had a power cut last night and my alarm didn't go off. Bollocks!
It's nearly 11am dom :closed:
I am still waiting. Step children's mothers can be proper cowbags when they want to be!!!!!!!!! GGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Alarm should have gone off at 7-30 to give me time to print maps and pack to be out the house by 9. I didn't wake up until 9-30 so no point going now.
Well I finally made it out for my run, very nice it was too :D
Shocker came when the kids said "mummy is annoyed that you [Mr OneHill] keep changing the times"........ When I sat in all bloody morning because she kept changing the times - we have done it ONCE she does it regularly. But hey, she holds all the cards and will crap all over whatever she can. Slagging us off to the kids though - unforgivable.
Anyway. Deep breath. And a glass of wine - that'll help
More rain today so far http://i592.photobucket.com/albums/t...bit/banana.gif
Not too bad down here, just awaiting the arrival of some new Lowa boots, hopefully get to test them out on the hills tomorrow.
Well it's Friday anyway.
I fixed my tumble dryer this morning. Cost £10 for a new capacitor (includes VAT and postage) . Probably would have got charged for a new electric motor plus callout plus labour if I had got someone to do it for me.
Result :D:D
Lowa boots did arrive for me that Friday!
I have to report, they are the best boot I have ever had, unbelievable comfort straight out of the box, good grip and outstanding quality.
Have definitely come in handy for the bergan runs! :)
Good to hear the boots were good.
I got some Mammut boots a while ago and was really pleased with them.
Won £10 on the village cricket club's 100 Club draw.
It's turning out to be a fine Friday:)
Good work LFF, I found £10 in my bag too, which I did not know was there
However, I have got to work tomorrow and am stuck in Manchester tonight all by my lonesome :boohoo:
We have a mini monsoon here in North Manchester at the moment :w00t:
There was a monsoon in Nottingham earlier today too. It's sunny now though and the wind has died down which is good, as I thought my house was going to blow down earlier and that would not have made it very appealing to all those potential buyers out there..... If there are any :closed:
