Without wishing to curse myself before the off, when there's lots of CPs, there's generally less scope to go wrong in between them.

Zed, the further you get into the race the more chance there is of going off-course. Suggest you have a look at the race map (at www.cvfr.co.uk) and familarise yourself with the lie of the land and where the final couple of checkpoints are ;)

I would say without a recce it makes a tough race, alot harder in this particular case, but it will be fun none the less! :)

It looks like I'm doing this now :). Is it all right to take along the map from the Calderdale web site does anyone know? Or do I have to buy a proper OS map?
I used a high quality print off last year, worked really well for me.
