I've just spent useless 2hrs trying to repair step-daugther's digital (given by her dad who's now biiggred off to Greece so of sentimental value) camera. Lens stuck in out-position...Mrs Stick and said child took thing to shop in Skipton who said £100 to look at it :mad:
Took it into Keighley camera shop today, lot more helpful, said 3rd party suppliers would repair for £40 - £200 depending on problem, but lens issues usually latter price :(
So...precision screwdriver set and bottle of malt come out...2 hrs later...still ain't fixed but at least screen works so piccies and video can be downloaded to pc. Yeah...I know I could've put memory card in my camera to get same effect but what fun would that have bin...???
Anyway, chilling now with more supplies of malt. :cool:
Has everyone else had such an exciting eve then..?
