My daughter fell asleep on a train last week that terminated in Manchester where she wanted to get off. When she woke up it was going in the opposite direction and she was the only one on it! She panicked and rang me to say she had no idea where she was going or how she could get home. I advised her to try and get the drivers attention which she did and she found out it was going to Wigan and would stop and come back to Manchester from there! I thought they were supposed to clear trains that terminated at a station when they stopped :confused:Quote:

Didn't think it was worth starting a new thread for this, but was watching Joanna Lumley's programme on Greece last night and there was a bit on the Mount Olympus Marathon. I'd never heard of it, but this runner runs by and she describes his blond hair etc and I thought he looked familiar.
Searched the results of the race on google and lo and behold, it was one Ricky Lightfoot.
I'm more observant than I realised. Looks a good race as well.

We have 2 cats and they are a bit oblivious to stuff going on around them, unless it's about food. They aren't too fussed about the fireworks really.
As for moving - well I think I will ship them to their grandad's house for a few days up to and after we move - then they can move it - they probably won't even notice it's a different house once they've found the food bowls :closed:
(Though they will love having our new big garden to laze about in in Summer :cool: )
