Poor Moley and bikes! Come on old chap, we need you with us to defend us from the natives and show us the secret route up aran fawddy!:D
No worries about me being at Arran Fawddy, there's slim chance of getting a bike up there - it will keep the 'Moley's secret routes' tradition alive .
A month and no further news... come on Toffer!!
Can someone tell me what this thing's about, all i know is i think the logo used to be Wheeze's avatar . This thread seems to be another excuse for chit-chat to me is any actual running going on? :D;)
Route-planner-in-chief is in a very poor way. He went into hospital a fortnight ago to have his metalwork out and a bone graft put in to shore up his savaged hip. Sadly, the whole lot got infected and the poor sod is languishing on Ward A4 of University Hospital of Wales, up to his eyeballs on antibiotics and pretty pee'd off:(. Currently a very sorry excuse for a fell runner but with enough abuse from us lot I'm sure he'll pull through.
And yes, you cheeky young pup Mr Brightside, there's more running in this challenge than you could shake a stick at, interspersed with some serious cycling.
That's because Steam Bunny Events:cool: occur on a far superior astral plane to the shabby ramblings of t'internet.
Duathlon event? Hmm, I s'pose it is really, spread out over 5 days, taking in an entire country with 13 mountain runs and several hundred miles of gnarly back roads and high level passes. Yeah, duathlon, that'd be it;)
On nooooooo :(:(:(
I am in Holland at the moment, or I'd go and visit poor Toff... Will you pass on my very best wishes to him Wheeze and tell him to get a move on with that recovery???
Mr Brightside, Steambunny events are great beyond description... :D and those who survive them special people... :D
That is all I have to say about it...
Oh yikes, that is not good news :(, Missus and Moley send their best.
Will he be needing his bike again? If not I could cut the frame down to my size and maybe use it for rough peddling across the fields round here :D.
