soso race, well behind Ady and Hursty, seem to be leaving it all out in training at the mo. Oh well picked up some useful club championship points cos hardly anyone else ran from the club.

well done Ady, i was miles behind you but was nursing my recovering sprained ankle and it held up well and i gained ground on Geronimo despite taking it easy on the descents.
lots of photographers on the course. look forward to the pics guys. they are really appreciated. you see... I can prove to the missus then that i was not in the pub watching football.
well organised as usual and good marshalling. thanks. will need to do more training ready for the full tour
Thanks to all for the race!
I've never run this race before and missed out on the full tour at the end of last year. I enjoyed it actually and was happy to finish in 1:50. Longest race I have done this year so hopefully I can improve my times as the months go on.
I love Geronimo, but I can see it being a different type of hill in the wet!
Well done to everyone!
:D Pea

Well done to the legend Holmesey for a fab result, hats off!
Also well done to all forumites, I think I need a forumite vest with my name on, as I never notice any of you, very slack of me.
Stella, thanks for the safety pins, much appreciated, that'll teach me to read the instructions when I enter next time, d'oh!
In case anyone is wondering, and u saw some nupty in 3/4 cycling tights, that was me, after having cycled the 20 miles to and from Hebden Bridge to set up my excuses! Before you ask, the padding......yes before the race, it did feel like 8 extra pairs of b*ll*x, but didn't notice it once huffing and puffling thru the race. Think I did 1.26.20
Geronimo, had a great line down there, and really enjoyed the descent (better than last Sundays reccie when it was snow and, unlike Scott, Scott, and Gary, I pood myself). One year I've decided I want to do some research, and find out the full garb of geronimo, and maybe use it with axe (?!?) for the descent, shouting the war cry, maybe I need war paint on the face!
Many, many thanks to the organisers and all the helpers, without your time, this wouldn't exist, nice one.
Some more photos here from Mrs T, Saving herself for the RAB miniMM tomorrow.
Thanks to all marshalls and organisers. Great day.
